Your sourcesSUMMITWhat you report

The details that decide a fund’s numbers.

Every currency gain is split by cause.

SUMMIT reports each unrealized gain or loss in two parts: the part from the security’s price and the part from the exchange rate. Your fund can hold as many currencies as it trades in.

Four cost methods, set per fund.

  • 01Average cost
  • 02FIFOFirst in, first out
  • 03Specific lot
  • 04Day trades firstFor managed futures funds

Odd prices get flagged.

Price Sentry holds a tolerance for each group of assets. A price that moves past it is marked on the pricing screens and on the portfolio valuation report.

A record of every entry.

The Daily Blotter lists every transaction by the date it was keyed in, whatever its trade date. When someone unhooks the general ledger, SUMMIT logs who, when and why.
